Käppala
The Käppala Association was formed in 1957 for processing sewage from municipalities north and east of Stockholm. An expanded, modernized plant was inaugurated by the King of Sweden on the 26th of April, 2000. Today it serves 12 municipalities and is regarded as one of the world’s most environmentally friendly and advanced water purification plants.
